Way to quad post for something so stupid.
The helmet has already been changed to black and will have the choice of grey and white in the alts, why does it matter what shade I like better now?

But yeah, not only it looks not very pleasant on its own, it causes major inconsistency. Like i said, the model itself "remakes" the original barney, while the helmet is white like it was on MP barneys or engineers.
Personal opinion. The inspiration for the white came from a few different things, two of them being the old millitary police barneys and old style riot police helmets, plus I didn't like the grey and wanted to keep the black for the barnabus.

But what makes me question the most, is that he said, that cut HL2 Beta helmet is white too. Why? Does it really looks like white? It is gray!
My memory isn't that great, I misremembered what shade an unused barney helmet that's in HL2's game files was, sue me.

Oh, one more thing. ID badge is from beta too. What concept does this model follow then? Is it remaking beta, or retail?
What? How in the blue hell does two things mean I'm trying to remake the beta model? It looks nothing like it.
I took some inspiration and ideas from some of Valve's other models, that's it. Originally I wasn't even going to give the top of the helmet a texture but someone suggested it and after making a quick texture for it I liked that idea. I used the ID tag from the unused construction model because I thought it look better then a grey box with a photo and the Black Mesa logo.

Original barney had gray-blue chrome on his helmet

For comparison, original barney's helmet colour was distinctive gray


It looks kinda white-ish under certain angles, but it's nothing compared to Norman's polished white


By the way, Ted Backman barney had black helmet

I've been waiting for this pack of yours ever since you posted the first screens.
And goddamn, I must say I'm very impressed!

It's really hard to say what I like the most here.
Those zombie models are really great - they finally look like zombies. I'm just not too fond of their idle animation.
I also really like what you did with those player models.

The only model that I believe could still use some work is the nurse - especially the part where the neck connects with the rest of her body. Apart from that, only some textures could be moved a bit (slightly cross-eyed soldiers, some faces have visible texture seams, cop hats have the badge a bit to the side etc.)

Anyway, this is some pretty high quality stuff you've got.
I'd say it deserves to be officially included in SC. Make sure you release it on SC forums too.

I aimed to make this as original looking as possible, because that's what people want :)

Note: There is a player model named cook that is unused but included in the pack.

Pack is done now.
I just need to make the credits file. God dammit, takes so long to do, and i don't care about crediting my name in this. All i want is this pack to go into circulation.
