I am also the author of the original texture, used to go by 'Abyss 25' back then. I even worked on a few really cool projects here. But then, I had a falling out with modding. I feel bad, because a couple projects I was working on with other people from the HL community suffered at that time. But that was a long time ago, now I'm back to polish up my old stuff and make some cool shit.

Edit: Also, I like those screens you took for gamebanana! They show off the texture well.

One more question. You said, that these hands are updated version of old texture from 2011. So, who was the original author then?

This was mainly for the new classic mode in Sven Co-op but it'll work with Half-Life, just without the nice glowing effects unless you use something like Xash3D. I was also thinking of doing Opposing Force maybe after I get the Half-Life models done with the idea of making the models more in Valve's style then Gearbox's, but who knows if I'll ever get around to doing that since I work on a modified version of Valve Time.

If I'm feeling real crazy I may put together my own LD pack for Sven Co-op because the few I've seen so far are ether broken or pretty meh.
I'm also gonna probably release my version of Ivan Co-op soonish. was already pretty much finished forever ago but like the crazy man I am I tried to make low poly world models for all of the guns, I really didn't want to release the pack without proper peewees but since I'll never finish them I'm just going to release the pack without them.

Pretty cool, though from what ive heard a lot of people seem to dig wallworm as well. Still using 2009 myself so i dont have to bother with any of this shit fortunately  :sagan:

New update 9/15/2017:

updated the SMD importer to no longer crash after some errors, weld vertices is more reliable and much faster now, and it should be able to properly handle files that are formatted a bit oddly. Also my license for 2015 expired so hopefully nothing breaks in that version.

Redistribution is fine, power to the people man. A fair credit and maybe a mention of these boards would be great though! I would love to see this place become a hub for great content again, endorse the hell outta this place.

EDIT: Not that there isn't quality community stuff here anymore, but the flow has slowed to a trickle.

Word to this, the amount places to find content like this are small, so we should try and keep in touch with these other communities.

$protected command was added, but that's all, it seems. I think you're safe and will not need to recompile those models
