One of many bizarre replacements you're likely to witness here; Vagrant's MGS style "Patriot" AR hack with a 20 round magazine on Ghost Ops animations for the pistol. Why? Because I wanted to match calibre with any 5.56 rifles you usually see for the 9mmAR. Included are compile files and only one set of hands (NASA styled space HEV, the author of which escapes me), however there are a lot of hand meshes out there on GO animations so a simple handswap should get you almost any set you want.

Spent like 2 hours working on an awesome post. Promptly lost everything because fuck you. Then gave up because apparently uploading files is borked. Or something. Gods this site is worse than HIT. No, that's an insult. This site is about as bad as HIT. Especially the faggots. :3

v_9mmAR_sc4.mdl is a Mk18 CQBR I hacked up using one of (iirc) Twinke_Masta's M4 carbines on Peck's anims, which I converted/ported to SC myself from CS1.6. Creds? Permission? Fuck all. Was planning to do a proper release with the arms standard for HL (HL/OF/BS/SC), sounds and HUD sprites but instead all I got to was the shitty LD OF and SC4. Has all anims, including a holster, so you could theoretically use it for even AS, but seeing as there's no tube or animations for it (Just a slowed down shoot) there's really no point in using it outside of SC. Plus the whole "only SC4 arms" thing.

tfc.rar is.. well. TFC models + OF hands. Why? Why the fuck *not*.

tw.rar is me messing with The Wastes models. Recompiled for consistency and improved smoothing. Sadly, this is before I started saving my files in .OBJ format. Oh well.

v_m1carbine.rar is the default DoD M1 Carbine and arms recompiled on a set of anims Toadie did. Also includes the Brit sleeve because some servers let you use american weapons as a Brit or etc.

Finally the thing I was the most pleased with, my OpFor pack.

Originally conceived as a "LETS GET TACTICOOL" pack for OpFor, it's... well, basically still that actually. It's a medium/high (not SD) definition pack that replaces the weapons (and brings most of the rest of the models up to PS2 standard) with a customized set based off modern USMC hardware mixed with BMRF equipment - SPAS12 for shotgun and a Colt 1911 for the Deagle. I held myself to a 'professional' standard, trimming the models of not-visible polies and extra textures as best I could, replacing everything, including items that either aren't actually used (w_shotshell for example, the 4 shotgun shells) or items that are only used in mods (w_silencer/the silencer on the v_9mmHG), and keeping it 'realistic' - rounds being visible atop fresh magazines and none in dry magazines, additive chromed on shiny parts, etc. Uses the "shitty" (and by "shitty" I mean "everyone claims they're shitty but they're much better modelled than AI's SD arms") LD arms with a new textureset and a wristwatch to make things more interesting.

I never really got around to finishing this, and this saddens me a great deal - I'm incredibly pleased with some of the models and wish I had the attention span to properly tend to them all, but... Alas, I have the attention span of a gnat on speed. Oh well. Mostly complete. Most of the main weapons have a replacement, if not a brand new model I hacked together, something PS2 quality or used from OFR (Permissions? Credits? Fuck all.) and a whole new (relatively) consistent sound set, somewhere (IMO) acceptably between "REALISM" and "GAMEPLAY". Not really much in the way of new NPC/Monsters, sadly - OFR standard if I couldn't find anything better. PS2 detail level if that looked better than OFR. (I used the PS2 grunts, not OFR. Sue me. Or don't, actually.) Also, playermodels, including the HD robogrunt model I originally did for SC.

Oh, and, speaking of dat pack. @ Cliffy - I've done many things to it. CoD, MW1, MW2, super omfg next gen high res, and most amusingly of all, CS1.6. Which I should finish up and release. Only need to do a few more weapons, I think...

I think I can dig up some stuff... :cop: :cop:

So, here's all the source files for some Stalker Call of Pripyat that I was going to do. I'd have kept doing them if it weren't for two things-
1) The rig was a whore to play with. Don't know what it was about getting the arm rig to 3ds max from Maya 8, but they came out with all sorts of fucked up angles on the finger.. Eugch.

2) All sorts of fucking export issues, no english support and the whole process takes far longer than is worth from 3ds max.

So yeah, have source files.

Also, I've used weapon models in here from a few places, which I don't have permission for, which you ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT USE in any release, and the only reason they're not deleted from this is that you need them for scale when you recompile. So if I see any Project Reality AK Compiles on GameBanana, I'll know who to look at.
So yeah, other than that, go slightly nuts.

Also, be warned, they're overly long reloads.

Well, that, and I'm tired of dealing with shitty rigs. So yeah, no idea.

I assume they all use the same rig? That way I could rig one shitty hands rig to it and not have to worry about rerigging it for every other compile?
