[MOD] Occupation Source 3.0 released
« on: October 09, 2010, 11:09:35 AM »
Occupation Source 3.0 has been released (hurrah!)

The mod can be downloaded from the following links:
http://www.moddb.com/mods/occupation-source/downloads/occupationcs-30-full-install1
http://www.filefront.com/17365635/OccupationCS.3.0.Full.rar

For those who don't know about the mod, it's a team-based shooter with NPCs providing backup (and cannonfodder :P).  Weapons have been coded to be very realistic - bullets drop over distance, with different types of ammunition having different effect (By this I mean you can choose between different ammunition grains for different calibres, which affect kick, accuracy and bullet speed.)

Check it out and see what you think :)

EDIT:

Added a sound patch file which fixes various bugs relating to gunshots.

Can you have npc's in multiplayer matches?  I want co-op maps :P
...I remember my early puberty, used to masturbate to the newly released HD model pack that came with the Half-Life Blue Shift video game.

NPCs always appear :)  Their main function is to support you as you advance on the enemy positions.

I hacked the NPCs, hacked sleeve meshes and fixed together some texture edits for the mod.  That's all :P

Heres how the models look in game - not much better than those screens since the maps haven't been compiled properly, but in a properly compiled map they would look OK.

Also the first guy, seriusly is not stoned XD
