Title says it all.
I'm still working with  Biohazard x - mod for HL2, but that doesn't mean, that i wont do something else.  ;D

School i still a bit fucked up, since i haven't been able to fix the "vertex buffer"-crashing..

Collapsed street is quite hard to build.
Believe it or not, but so far i haven't encountered any vertex manipulation - errors. :v:

How long it would take to reach the bottom, if you would accidentally fall? :v:

Dm_otherworld

I started to make another "otherworld" themed map about 2 weeks ago for Counter-Strike: Source.
In my and few other Silent Hill - fans opinions, i'm going to right direction.

One of the most interesting features is a possibility to "switch" reality through mirror(s), a bit Silent Hill: Origins, eh?
(currently 2 rooms from real reality are done, but i still think, that it's quite cool system. :) )

I listened people's "too dark :( :( :(" - whining, and i created Silent Hill: Origins - stylish lightning to "otherworld".

I decided to build fence floors from brushes, so it's now possible to walk / run without jumping while running.

I like the way you've done the underworld. A suggestion for the chasms: Displacements. Props. More things to make it less jaggy.

Stuff looks kinda bland, too much HL2 stock used. Also those grate brush bars are horrendous to look at, way too thick and blocky, you'd be better off using the HL2 fence models and retexturing them or something.

Not sure how Silent Hill fits into CS:S either o_O

1. Those grate brush bars are horrendous to look at, way too thick and blocky.
2. you'd be better off using the HL2 fence models and retexturing them or something.

Not sure how Silent Hill fits into CS:S either o_O

1. If you are talking about dm_otherworld's floor, it's supposed to look like that.
2. I have made rusted textures for fences, i havent showed them in here, though.

You know, Silent Hill's environments are actually very fucking rich in detail, it's not just rusty textures everywhere, but also a shitload of well-made props and more complex level design.
Don't get me wrong, I like what you have now, but it just boils down to dark, under detailed and square rooms.

That crazy prison in SH4 was pretty weird. There was actually something pretty scary in it (although the rest of the game was really unscary) but I forgot what it was. It certainly wasn't the fight with Walter though.

I guess it was the backstory, i found the prison to be weird too, not just because its weird (spoiler, not gona type)but why did they even want to do that to them?Though maybe that was needed for some ritual..

Because the cult were massively fucked up that's why they did it, I mean they did "kill" a 12 year old girl in an effort to birth a dark God...

Orphans were sometimes punished by taking them to the Water Prison.
(As the name tells, it's a prison)

Wish House (the place, where "all orphans got a chance for better life") taught the orphans in to members of "The Order".

One of the orphans, Walter,  got special lessons about the "Holy Mother" and the "21 sacraments".
(He was Dahlia's plan B, in case that something would go wrong with Alessa. As most of the people know, things went wrong with her.)
