Does anyone have the Dreamcast Blue Shift models?

"Although the Dreamcast port was later cancelled, the PC version continued development and was released as a standalone product."

"The new models developed for the Dreamcast version of Half-Life would also be included in the PC version as the Half-Life High Definition pack."

No. Just no.
The Dreamcast version has many differences in model from the HD pack. For example the Gordon model. In the HD pack the Gordon Suit model was left unchanged while the Dreamcast version had a different and better model.

You said Blueshift, not Half-Life.

If you are looking for content from the Dreamcast version of Blueshift then good luck. If you are looking for stuff that's compatible, there is plenty of Dreamcast material that was leaked from the original HL; most of it should be without any real work.

Edit:

Looking at that from the Dreamcast, hard to tell me the HD/PS2/AI/Romka version is inferior.

Yeah....

I guess peoples' interpretation of "better" is completely aesthetic and contingent on their taste? I can respect that some people would choose LD or MD content, seems like low ploy / low resolution models work the best for an engine that was designed for such use.

In any case, I don't know of any Blue Shift Dreamcast pack. Best bet is to private message the creators of the mod Thomas mentioned, I'm sure they could point you in the right direction.

http://www.moddb.com/mods/half-life-dreamcast

If not, you could simply re-rig the Dreamcast models included in the above mod to work for Blue Shift. You'd have to be a little creative for things like dead_barney or rosenburg's head mesh... but yeah. Modding should only really be done if it's fun, once that stops there's not much incentive.

Holy shit, that is one massive hand cannon.
I don't see why anyone ever cared about the Gordon model, you never even see it in game.

I vaguely remember someone releasing DC HL1 content a while back, it was pretty terrible though.  As bad as the PS2 content was, it's still better than the DC models.

Ok so i found this problem while trying to do that. I was trying to add the walter head texture from Marphy's HL:D model to the scientist_cower model in HLMV. When I added the Walter head texture it crashed and said:
"the instruction at "ox6f88694d" referenced memory at "0x6f88694d". The memory could not be "read"".
Any help?
Barney: Maybe.

Hm, what have you done? Did you export the texture in Jed's Half-Life Model Viewer
(from Marphy's) and import it back (with Jed's Half-Life Model Viewer) on your model?

Post both models, then I will take a look.

Does anyone have a HD HEV Suit Zombie? (Like for USS Darkstar).
Also does anyone have anything related to Residual Point/Life?

I should have an HD HEV Zombie, i will post it.
As I said, I don't remember anything related about Residual Point/Life.
But I have made a nice hand hack, if you are interested.

I downloaded this PS2 and Decay models pack but the decay part didn't come with the hgrunts. Does anyone have them? I have reason to believe they have some new animations for sequences.

Besli does have a life outside this forum fuzzyal, please be patient. Consider this a friendly warning.

EDIT: On a side note, @Besli, do you need a more reliable place to upload files?
