Very well done. Will surely be a blast from the past for those who've seen the early PR pictures of the assassin when Half-Life was about to be released.

Woo nelly, talk about some nice effort on those new anims, I love what you did with the crossbow during the shoot animations  :2pro:
EDIT: Making a piece of code for the corssbow to actually work shouldn't be too hard, I'll see what I can do

animating in milkshape 3D is like Photoshoping in paint, I had to redo them a few time because milkshape kept braking them, not completely satisfied with them but they work

that would be cool to have them shoot actual arrows

Tell me about it, once I tried to do an mp5 anim for barney, I ended up raging, throwing my mouse, and went out for a pint of beer

Here we go working minimod with bolt firing assassins, starting a new game (or trainning) takes you directly to c2a3d just impulse and take the elevator
The assassins are firing the bolts quite fast, but it can be avoided if shooted from far away, makes a nice gameplay element actually

I tried out your minimod and it was really fun to fight against the assassins, especially on hard when they cloak
