Sweet love of mike, Glad to see you Raven!

To keep it short and not too off topic, I got into making sites on Neocities, felt a bit nostalgic, I somehow ended up on HIT forums. Found the place to be a complete utter broken mess, Ambient Impact is going through depression. A link brought me here, noticed that I didn't get pruned, and everything is intact but actually thriving. Seeing some familiar names and a healthy amount of posts from 2016 and on. A couple years ago I tried to retrieve some of my stuff from random file hosts since FileFront losing most of my things was really upsetting. Preservation didn't seem that important until you lose it all like Geocities, Planet Half-Life, and HIT, so I thought I'd contribute some stuff.

Thanks. Hard to look at nowadays but much appreciated.

You're welcome. I'd say it's a damn good model even by today's modding standards though.

Also, what's a good free file hosting site that wouldn't delete my files after such a short time?

For whatever reason, turns out Mediafire stood the test of time. Not that it was ever bad, it used to have a 200mb file limit but now it's 20gb, so it actually got better. And we're talking about a host that's as old, if not older than Megaupload and Rapidshare. Even MEGA crumbled first. Google Drive and Dropbox both will lock you out if too many people download your files, making it absolutely useless. Mediafire has a good file management interface so it serves personal needs very well.

I've also got a small simple file service that a few people on HLC have been using to share content. If that sort of thing interests either of you, or anyone else for that matter, get it touch via PM, Skype or email.

https://web.archive.org/web/20010302080535/http://www.3d-editing.com/coldfusion/reviews/Players/WeaponPack.htm

I Tried looking for it on Google, but no Luck.

I'd Hate to see these lost for eternity, because they are pretty well done IMHO.

I think there shouldn't be any requests in this thread.

This thread is dedicated to gathering EVERYTHING that was lost during the fall of HIT, if there's something there that any of us have that used to be in HIT but nowhere else, we will most likely upload it here, adding requests kinda messes the place up a bit.

Then again, there were talks of taking the stuff from here and putting them in their own threads, so perhaps it's alright to have the occasional memo if somebody forgot to upload their stash instead of focusing on tidying up the place.
