Want to Beta Test? Start here
« on: April 01, 2019, 12:06:00 AM »
Beta testing for Resident Evil: Cold Blood is currently managed through our Discord channel on the Half-Life Creations Discord.

Discord Invite Link: https://discord.gg/mKJ3ZmN

Please relay any bug reports or general issues to #recb_bug_reports on Discord or in the Beta Testing Subforum

All releases will be posted in the #recb-releases channel.

At this time we are testing under Sven Coop. You can install Sven Coop for free here (You will need a free Steam account): https://store.steampowered.com/app/225840/Sven_Coop/

If using the standalone installations, extract the "recb" folder into '\Steam(or SteamLibrary)\steamapps\common\Sven Co-op folder' (the folder containing svencoop.exe)

Once extracted, Right-Click the Sven Coop entry in your Steam list and go to Properties. From here, click 'Set Launch Options' and enter "-game recb". Click Okay, Close and then launch Sven Coop - you should go straight into RECB.

You may use the optional updater, but please keep in mind this is an internal tool only for downloading and installing rapid fire beta patches - and it's prone to having issues. Make sure to run as administrator if your Sven Coop/Steam Library folder is under Program Files. .Net 4.0 is required to run.

If using the launcher, create a folder called 'recb' in your '\Steam(or SteamLibrary)\steamapps\common\Sven Co-op folder' directory (the folder containing svencoop.exe). Run launcher.exe and click "Update", this will start downloading mod files. There's no download indicator, most likely it will appear to be frozen until all files are downloaded and extracted.

Once updated, Right-Click the Sven Coop entry in your Steam list and go to Properties. From here, click 'Set Launch Options' and enter "-game recb". Click Okay, Close and then launch Sven Coop - you should go straight into RECB.

Thank you for your interest - and a huge shoutout to our dedicated fans. Now let's get out there and make a great mod!
