[CSS]Hivac Industrial

Hivac is a temporarily name. It was previously used as a placeholder name for my Vacant map.

A ridiculously small Counter Strike Source Deathmatch map. Designed to have an intense close combat on a small server with a group of friend. Inspiration from DOOM 3, Prey, and Jedi Academy. It is a dark sci-fi futuristic map.

The basic layout is done. Details are been put in and map is currently under scripting. Texture will come next..

I'm getting back in to Source mapping at full potential now that I have a new rig that won't perform at a sluggish rate unlike my old one.

It will be the first map to utilize my Bessemer Edition textures.

The brushwork looks pretty good, reminds me of MGS more than Doom.

Pretty hard to tell how it will go this early in development, as far as I can make out it's a killbox.  Will it be anything more elaborate than that?

It will,at the moment I'm focusing on the central area before expanding to the spawn room and the additional corridors along the sides linking the entire area together.

Now that you said it, I pretty much agree, it got a litle MGS touch, that said it looks pretty good even for a killbox

Several new screenshots of latest version. No entity have been placed inside the map yet beside buyzones and spawns. I went for a more modern industrial version instead of futuristic version.
