The MP5
« on: May 24, 2009, 06:12:51 PM »
You see. I am dutch. In case you are not an expert in geography, The Netherlands borders Germany (Which turned out to be a problem in the second world war, as we suddenly had to hold them off with weapons from WWI and EARLIER. Seriously, I am not kidding, we plundered museums, and managed to hold 5 days, then lost because we had no air force left). Anyway, I happen to like german weapons. A lot.
Especially the MP5. Why? It look's cute, and it's special-force-ish (it's easy to fire while descending from a rope, for example). However, there is a problem.

Most MP5's out there don't change the HGrunt and spec/ops models to use them.
every mp5 out there does not have the arms in the colours I want them to be (The ones used in Daimond's pack and the ones used in OpFor: Redux)

Could someone make this for me, and possibly others (someone on the Black Mesa Source cafetaria also wanted this)? Or just tell me to look harder and provide links to MP5s that match the criteria, or perhpas some tutorials to attach those arms and such myself (With the only small problem that I then won't be able to publish (for the common good) it as I am going to use content from others).

For some dark mysterious reason, the post actually got posted while I only reached the first sentence (I didn't even click the post button!). Post updated, I apologize for the convenience. And all that.

Make what for you though? You didn't actually say what arms you wanted.

I would give that a shot if it had any more info.

Ja, duidelijkheid is niet mijn beste punt.

There is a small problem. The arms I want are the same as used in Daimond's Half Life Final Pack, and for Opposing force I'd like the arms that are used in the Opposing Force Redux pack. Since I am a complete and total noob at this, I actually do not know which arms are used in those packs.

I'm a bit confused. Opposing Force and my pack do not use MP5s. Attach the MP5 model you are talking about in a rar., and I'll see what I can do.

Don't worry, referencing OP4 Redux and DiamonD's HL pack is clear enough for evrybody around here

Good for you then, because except for the small problem that it does not blend in well in Daimond's Pack or in OpForRedux, it's awesome ^^.

Fast work there. You're so  :daza: you need some kind of special title.
