[Source Mod] "Aftermath"
« on: June 03, 2009, 02:09:05 PM »
Just thought I'd bring some attention to a mod I'm contributing to called "Aftermath".
Basically it's a Multiplayer Tac-FPS set in post-revolutionary China, a sort of 2nd Boxer Rebellion if you will.  For the purposes of this game, the warring teams will be the NATO CMU force or the Chinese Rebels.

Gameplay will be objective based and varied - one mission might see you needing to drive tanks to destroy an objective, whilst the opposing team attempt to set off a bomb in your spawn area!

The dev team include a variety of highly skilled modellers, mappers and coders who work fast to deliver results!  Expect to see a first beta in the coming months...  I should add that it's already extremely good fun to play ;)

Im working with someone who's working on this mod, he's one of the moddelers on the team(Name Ihazard), working with him on Pacific:Source.

The mod is looking so fucking awesome, I wish it could bend over with it's pant's dropped down.

Yeah, it'd be way more pro if they used Kruk's car props. I hate how people are recycling HL2 content over and over... we've all seen this already.

lol

Hopefully those will be replaced as the project moves forward - if you notice there are some custom vehicles there already.  There are tonnes of vehicle props out on the net anyway, so they should be easy to replace.

Look very nice! I notice the dirty car in the corner doesn't fit in with the level. :|

Well I didn't do the geo, so :v:.
And if I did, I would've modeled fucking everything.

Yeah theres quite a bit of overlap between these two dev teams :)

ATM development on Aftermath is pretty much stalled, since most of the team are now working on another mod called "Visage" http://www.moddb.com/mods/visage
