[HL][Glock] Bullet_Head's Glock 19 Re-animation.

Hello Half Life Creations modellers. I'm DaftPunkinHL, I'm a new "dude" in this website. So can I request something? Can you re-animate Bullet_Head's Glock 19 model into the Original HL Glock? I can only re-texture and re-origin a model but not animating. Really sorry if I'm tardy, it's kinda in my blood.

I am also currently working in a mod called Half-Life: Redesigned, a mod for HL. I've been wandering around the HIT Forums if they would respond to my model request but it seems that they're inactive as a stone in a desert.

So, please. If you can re-animate it, I'd be happy as a kangaroo who lost it's moxie. Oh, and, here's the Glock 19 model from GameBanana (New FPSBanana) :http://www.gamebanana.com/skins/17303

HEV Arm, well, choose it yourself but make sure the size 512x512 so I can re-texture it. And keep the Glock model textures in it same size.

And if the re-animating is properly executed, this is the probable outcome of the model ;) :

Are you asking for an animation port or a completely new set? There are a few people here that probably wouldn't mind porting a set but the likelihood of getting a brand new set on your first post is highly unlikely to downright laughable. People here will want to know that you won't run as soon as your request is completed. We are more than willing to help but its a give and take relationship here.

Just an animation port. I don't like people doing hard things such as creating a brand new pack with brand new animations. Only one.

Ok, thanks for the clarification. Did you have a preference of animations that you wanted on the Glock or did you want someone to choose a set for you? Welcome to the site by the way. (0805hrs here lol)

I am just requesting that...

Someone takes an non-edited model, open Milkshape, change animations from here to there, compile, then send the model. Then I'll re-texture and re-compile it.

Easy for expert modellers.

I can do it, it's just a question of time. Currently taking the last course for my university degree so that takes point. But now that its clear what you want, anyone here could do it and I invite them to beat me to it just so it gets done quickly.

Yeah, maybe if you are making them, but this just a case of modifying a reference smd then recompiling. Assigning the bones to the new model and tweaking might take 30mins if you are slow. If you are a nerd like DiamonD and others, probably less.

There. I had to edit all the animations because for some reason the magazine is inside the screen on the default ones, and it comes out upside down on the reload.

James, the animations are VERY nice but it isn't the Original Glock animations. It's the Beretta animations. If it's okay, change the 2 shoot .smds to the Original Glock.

waqwarrior, Any HEV Arms that has a 512x512 size will do. I don't like AI's HEV Arm because it's too white-orange and kinda rusty. VALVE made the HEV Yellow Orange with spice and everything nice now people comes up says "OH HEY THIS IS MY WEAPONZ TROLOLZ GREETS FOR GEARBOX". It was supposed to be orange.

Sorry if I sound busted, I'm kinda sleepy now, I'm not supposed to be awake in the middle of the night, drinking coffee.

Edited the Glock model the Minuit uploaded. Edited slide texture and compiled with waqwarrior's HEV Arm. The reload sound isn't properly working. The magazine drops = Okay, The magazine gets inserted = Pickup ammo sound. I think I'm gonna fix this myself.



I think the re-origins are okay. But looks like nothing from the above picture. Which makes it so... beautiful.

It's the other way round. The ammo pick up sound in HL is the 9mm clip in sound.

Just stick with what James uploaded. I actually did this rig myself a while ago, but it's not very good so I won't upload it.

Seems weird. Clips and magazines are always tight, it's not loose like it sounds in-game. Nevermind, I'll just replace them with the original Glock sounds.

It's the one you're using. It's in all the screenshots you have posted.

and it comes out upside down on the reload.

Yeah, Valve/Gearbox did that because when the mag is released, it's backwards, where there aren't any faces for the bullets, so it appears to be empty.

Is it possible if you can just slap the 2 Shoot sequences of the model then compile it?

EDIT: What I meant to say was can "Can someone export the two Shoot sequences of the original HL Glock to the Glock 19?

I think the reload is different for the LD version to the HD animations. So what specifically do you want, DaftPunkinHL? Do you just want Minuit's compile on LD animations?

E/ So, basically this? Had to rescale the clip since lolLDanimations, and the UVs for the HEV arms were weird.

Edited the LD animations some time ago so that the magazine would be facing upward on the ejection too. Dunno how well it's aligned since this was on an old compile, let me know if it's gay.

Glock 19's are small. I have one, James has held it, so I trust the sizing to be correct. If it feels too small, FOV the front of the model if you want, or make it bigger, its your compile at the end of the day.
